London Liming: a Trini-style lime in London
Wednesday 29 March 2006
London Liming is a renaissance one party around Trinidad ‘limin’ culture – a chilled-out vibe in which people can mix, drink and dance. We also present short performances by writers and music by DJs.
Following some successful pilot events in 2005, London Liming is now a QUARTERLY happening at the GE Club.
Spoken Word Performances at 8.45pm and 9.30pm plus DJs playing sets all night.
Featuring special reading and performances by Patience Agbabi, Charlie Dark, Dan Cockrill, Aoife Mannix, Anthony Joseph and Saradha Soobrayen. Hosted by Pierre Ringwald and Melanie Abrahams.
BOOKING PLACES: PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS FULL TO CAPACITY. We will be running the next London Liming in July 2007, watch this space|!
The London Liming experience is brought to you courtesy of Guinness® Foreign Extra Stout, who invite you to enjoy a free bottle, while stocks last!
London Liming is produced by Tilt and supported by renaissance one, the Watch-Men Agency and the GE Club.
