Patrick Neate has written four novels and two books of non-fiction. His ‘12 Bar Blues’ won the Whitbread Novel Award. He is currently writing the script for the film of his last novel, ‘City Of Tiny Lights’. ‘Where You’re At’ won the National Book Critics award in the US. Patrick has written for all major UK broadsheets and magazines. He runs Bookslam, London’s best (only?) literary nightclub.
Aoife Mannix is an Irish writer and poet based in London. She is currently touring her poetry and music show ‘Growing Up An Alien’ with Apples and Snakes supported by Arts Council England. In addition to regular performances throughout the UK, she has performed her poetry in Taiwan, Thailand, India, Norway and Austria with the British Council. Her work has been widely published in magazines and anthologies as well as being broadcast on BBC Radio. Her first full collection of poetry ‘The Elephant in the Corner’ was published by tall lighthouse in 2005.
Dzifa Benson writes poems, short stories and radio plays. She is currently working on her first novel and a documentary about the evolution of African music
