The UK’s most exciting live literature promoters, Penned in the Margins, are joining forces with creative publishing house, Salt Publishing, for a series of free events at East London’s Whitechapel Gallery.

Heavily seasoned with poetry, storytelling, comedy, live drawing and music, the eclectic Salt Margins line-up is carefully blended to provide one of London’s most innovative performance nights, all in the comfort of The Whitechapel’s chic bar space. Featuring Accents on Words with Heather Taylor and Aoife Mannix.

Her first novel Heritage of Secrets was published by Lubin & Kleyner in 2008. She is the author of four collections of poetry; The Trick of Foreign Words (2002), The Elephant in the Corner (2005), Growing Up An Alien (2007) and the recent Turn The Clocks Upside Down – all with Tall Lighthouse. Her work has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio 4, London Live, Resonance FM, and the BBC World Service.
